St Mary's main church hall is a beautiful and welcoming space. Following its destructing in the Second World War, it was rebuilt in the 1950s and as such benefits from a much more open, airy and light-filled space that makes it unique for church spaces with expansive windows overlooking the surrounding gardens and allows the sun to flood the space and makes the sky very prominent from within the space. Located in a very easy-to-access area on Upper Street it is convenient to get to by all forms of public transport and is in close vicinity to many restaurants theatres, pubs and public spaces. The total capacity is approximately 300 with seating being provided by traditional, although cushioned, church pews. There is also a small food and drinks service area at the back of the space and ample toilet facilities. This space is a wonderful location for music performances, cultural events, filming and photo shoots.
